The Air Engineering Metal Trades Council composed of Metal Trades members of the UA, IBEW, LIUNA, IBB, IWINT, SMART, IUPAT, IBT, IUOE and the IAMAW went on STRIKE Friday July 2 at 1p.  Here is the link in the Tullahoma newspaper detailing the NLB issues at stake.  President Eric Coons  Business Manager with UA Local 572 and the Nashville Building and Construction Trades provided the following update…”Strikers are maintaining  a 24 hour picket line at Gate #2 of the Arnold Airforce Base. Strike support is appreciated and supporters are asked to park at Tullahoma Space Institute and shuttled to strike like because of limited parking at strike like.  Organizing to maximize support present on Tuesday 7/6 from 6a to 8a is underway.  If you can go at that time, please let us know and perhaps a caravan can be organized from Nashville.  If not, any time you can spend in support is welcomed and appreciated.
